When you move into the Homestead community of new homes in Eagle ID, you’ll have plenty of fun things to do in your free time.

One of the largest attractions in the area is Eagle Island State Park. Covering 545 acres between the north and south branches of the Boise River, the park has tons of activities for all ages. You can go boating, fishing, hiking, and swimming, play disc golf, soar down the zip lines, or have a relaxing picnic. Another great resource for outdoor enjoyment is the Boise River greenbelt. Stroll, jog or bike along the path, or stop off to go fishing or take in the scenery on one of the benches along the way.

For organized sports, head over to the Ada/Eagle Sports Complex. Here you can use the skate park, play inline hockey or basketball, race on the BMX tracks, or take part in snow sports. The Bogus Basin Ski Resort is just 15 minutes away for more winter fun. This affordable destination offers 2600 acres of ski area with 91 runs. There’s also a dedicated tubing hill and a mountain coaster.

Other activities in the Eagle area include golf courses, horseback riding, the Firebird Raceway, and a virtual reality arcade. You can attend monthly Gazebo Concerts in town or shop at the Saturday Market in Heritage Park from May to October.
