More people are looking for homes near Caldwell ID than ever before. The area is rich with attractions and amenities that make it an ideal place to live.

Besides easy access to Meridian, Nampa and Boise, the Caldwell area has a variety of recreational resources. Here are three ways to enjoy your free time around Caldwell ID:

Snake River Canyon Scenic Byway

Take a leisurely drive along this 53-mile route that starts at Walters Ferry on Idaho 45. Stop at the scenic overlooks and visit Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge, Fort Boise or Map Rock Petroglyph. The route is also studded with vineyards, wineries, and orchards. Driving the byway takes about an hour and a half, but allow more time if you want to stop and enjoy the sights and sips along the way.

Indian Creek Plaza

One of the West’s most outstanding city-center parks, the Plaza offers lots of activities and attractions throughout the year. Walk along the Indian Creek greenway and enjoy takeout at a shaded picnic table. In the summer the park features a fountain and splash pads, as well as festivals, farmers markets and concerts. Winter activities include holiday events, ice skating, fire pits and a heated outdoor lounge.

Adventure Trail

This free self-guided tour will take you through organic orchards and farms in the Snake River Valley outside Caldwell. Pick fruit and flowers, help take care of farm animals, ride a horse, try goat yoga, learn about beekeeping, enjoy a farm-to-table meal and more.

Just 15 minutes southeast of Caldwell you’ll find Nampa, where we’re building the Arbor community of new homes. Arbor features modern farmhouse and urban style homes within easy reach of schools, shopping, health care.

The community has walking paths, playgrounds, two pools, a clubhouse and open spaces. Desert Springs Elementary and Sage Valley Middle School are next door.  Arbor is close to both Caldwell and Meridian ID.

Homes in the community range from 1,495-2,500 square feet and have three bedrooms and two or three-car garages. One and two-story plans are available. Every home we build is 100% Energy Star certified.
