Assistant Superintendent

The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for assisting in the activities to construct residential homes.

Major Responsibilities

Activities During Construction:

• Vacuuming stud bays, cleaning crawlspaces, cleaning jobsites, garages, washing garage doors and making sure overall appearance meets company standards.
• Sweeping driveways and shoveling gutters.
• Preparing for certificate of occupancy by cleaning crawlspaces and fire caulking.
• Installing lot signs and placing doormats at homes.
• Occasional demo (e.g. drywall or trim repair) or small construction changes to homes.

Activities During Punch Out/Completion of Home:

• Performing multi-point inspection list.
• Inspecting quality of Trade Partner work.

Inventory Home Maintenance:

• Weekly inspection and maintenance of all inventory homes to include light bulb replacement, setting garage codes, inspecting filters, locking windows, organizing garage storage, flushing toilets, checking signage, checking thermostats, checking air fresheners and re-checking homes when completed inventory homes sell.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• College degree in construction management and/or construction experience preferred.
• Ability to deliver world-class products and customer service to our clients.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be self-motivated, with the ability to problem-solve while working at a fast pace.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in collaboration with a team of co-workers, trade partners and community.
• Exemplify the highest standards of honesty, integrity and ethical conduct.
